MM Activiteitenkalender CPNB 2000-2002 (2000)

Dated 2000, "MM Activiteitenkalender CPNB 2000-2002" is an artwork by Irma Boom. Background on Vintage Posters: Colour lithography in the 1890s turned the illustrated poster into a major art form, and cities such as Paris and Prague became centres of poster design. Posters announced theatre, travel, products, and events, combining image and lettering to be read at a glance from the street. Historical background, 2000: Painting, drawing, photography, installation, and digital tools now sit side by side, and artists work within a global network of exhibitions and online audiences. Art made from the year 2000 onward belongs to the contemporary period, which is defined less by a single movement than by a wide range of concerns and media. It is listed in the Vintage Posters collection. The image is in portrait orientation.

On onlly.art "MM Activiteitenkalender CPNB 2000-2002" is sold as a digital download (Digital JPEG + PDF files, 300 DPI). The files are delivered by email after payment, so nothing is shipped: you print locally, choosing the paper, size, and frame yourself. A portrait format suits narrow wall spaces, hallways, and the area beside a door or window. Vintage posters bring character, graphic texture, and a collected feel to the room, while pairing easily with both contemporary furniture and eclectic styling. Before printing, compare the proportions of the file with your frame so that nothing important is cropped. Screens and printers render colour differently, so a small test print is a sensible way to check tones before committing to a large size. Matte and fine-art papers reduce glare in bright rooms, while glossy papers give stronger contrast and deeper blacks. Choosing a standard frame size and printing to fit it often saves the cost of custom framing.
